Portsmouth Catholic Regional School offers a variety of extra-curricular activities (i.e. athletics, performing arts, band, piano lessons, etc.), which are open to students in different grade levels depending on the program. In order to participate in extra-curricular activities a student must pass all courses he/she is currently taking, and which are required for graduation. Such courses must be passed in the marking period preceding participation. Likewise, a student must be in good standing under the disciplinary standards of the school. All extra-curricular activities come under the direct authority of the Principal or his/her designee.
Portsmouth Catholic students in grades 3 through 8 are welcome to join the drama club. All students who audition receive a part in the play. The drama club has auditions in October with the perfomance scheduled in the spring. The drama club will be presenting "The Wizard of Oz" this school year.

The middle school teachers have weekly tutoring days to work with students in small group tutoring.
This year our basketball teams will be cheered on by our PCRS cheerleaders. Cheerleading is open to students in grades 3 through 8.

The AAA School Safety Patrol Program emphasizes that all participants in the traffic safety, from patrol members and pedestrians to supervisors and drivers, must cooperate to create a safe environment. This is how patrols cultivate citizenship, and learn to become active volunteers in their communities.
Grafix is a graphic art after school club which allows students to learn about photography, photo editing, video effects, video editing and other graphic art skills.
PCRS offers on-site music instruction. Lessons offered range from violin, piano and guitar.
